HNU IBED Students Crowned Champions in Inter-City Bible Quiz

Holy Name University’s Integrated Basic Education Department (HNU IBED) proudly celebrates a moment of faith-filled triumph as two of its students emerged victorious in a prestigious academic and spiritual competition.

Stephanie Ruaya and Tem Zachary Masalta were declared Champions of the Inter-City Secondary School Bible Quiz, held on December 12, 2025, at Cogon Elementary School. The competition gathered secondary school students from the city, the event was meaningfully sponsored by the Knights of Columbus – Diocese of Tagbilaran, whose continued support highlights the importance of promoting biblical literacy, faith formation, and Christian values among the youth.

Special recognition is also extended to their coach, IBED Christian Living Coordinator Mr. Rufino G. Ocon, MAT, whose guidance, dedication, and unwavering support played a vital role in preparing the students for this significant achievement.
