Becoming your CSG president was like a curse at some point. Not only was I unable to enjoy institutional events, but I was also criticized, had to face non-academic problems in the institution and most of all, I felt so burdened that I sometimes forgot to enjoy like a normal teenager. But above all of those unfortunate happenings are the experiences of being able to do a good deed behind those bright lights and fame. Looking back, I know, in a way or another, that I was able to make my co-Holynamians enjoy, that I was able to lend a hand to students who sought assistance, that I have provided opportunities to students to exhibit their talents and potentials and most of all, that I was able to produce and enhance future leaders who could continue my legacy in the Central Student Government. I recognize that I was not the best president, but all I hope is that I was able to be a good president at some point.
Now that my term will end and am about to face a new chapter of my life, I don't know how to say this in a very appreciative manner, but I TRULY THANK YOU HOLYNAMIANS for giving me the opportunity to serve you all. I am very fortunate that such once-in-a-school-year opportunity was given to me. I also want to express my GREATEST THANK YOU to the Holy Name University administrators, Fr. Dudes, Fr. Cy, Fr. Vic and Fr. Kito for their warm welcome and support to the Central Student Government. A GREAT THANK YOU also to Ma'am Nanelyn, our Student Affairs Director, for guiding and molding me to become a better leader, and always acting like a mother to the Central Student Government despite of how stubborn we were sometimes. Lastly, I want to say THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU to my CSG officers who have been with me through thick and thin, in sickness and in health and till "PAKALS" do us part.
To end this poignant speech of mine, I think it is time for me to say that MY CSG PRESIDENT TERM IS A MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Next mission: TO GRADUATE THIS OCTOBER!
Thank you and may the Holy Name guide us all!
This is President Louie, Signing off!
