"The party was a blast!", says the dean of the Computer Science Department, Mrs. Amie Rosarie C. Caballo.
A Christmas party attended by all the Computer Science Faculty members, staff and their families was held last December 16, 2007 at Water Paradise. The place is truly a secret "paradise" somewhere at Taloto District, Tagbilaran City.
Before the shindig started, the gang’s first course was to go swimming in the chilly pool. Atty. Adolfo M. Doroy, who orchestrated the night’s program, surprised the group with a task to spontaneously play up the Nativity Story. Other highlights of the event were the tricky games, impromptu group presentations, and of course the thrill felt by everyone because of the prizes to be won in the raffle draw. The exchanging of gifts turned out to be a comic one since codenames were used to hide each other's identity.
It has been a ComSci family unwritten rule not to start and end any party without riotous singing and wild dancing so the group went on with a cozy disco right after. Not even one went home either empty-handed or whose tummy was empty because of the gifts and the prizes and of the food that was delectable and plenty.
