The deadline for the submission of application forms for the search of the HNU Alumni King and Queen has been extended indefinitely. Judge Suceso Arcamo, president of the HNU Alumni Association-Tagbilaran, Inc., bared that many alumni chapters and class presidents have clamored for more time to look for their respective candidates; hence, the decision to extend was reached by the association’s Board of Directors during a special meeting held on November 24, 2007.
Judge Arcamo also announced that chapters or batches may group together to support a common candidate or candidates for King and Queen, respectively. This is his way of renewing his call to all alumni batches and chapters to fully support this project. The proceeds of this activity will be used for the various programs of the association, specially the scholarship of ten promising and deserving students for the coming school year 2008-2009. At present, the association is supporting its first batch of four scholars who are all studying at HNU, two of whom are enrolled at the College of Business and Accountancy and the other two are in the College of Education. /HNU-AATI/
