Eight ECE graduates passed the recent Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination given on November 3 and 4, 2007. The recent exam is the first Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination in lieu of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Licensure Examination since the implementation of RA 9292.
Among those who succeed are Engr. ADEM, Jonnley S., Tagbilaran City, Engr. ALDAVE, Vincent Rey, Pob. Corella, Bohol; Engr. APARICIO, Jefrey G., Candijay, Bohol; Engr. ITABLE, Elaine N., Tubigon, Bohol; Engr. OCTUBRE, Joliver H., Dimiao, Bohol; Engr. NIONES, Ryan P., Pob. Clarin, Bohol; Engr. PLARIZA, Erwin B., Duero, Bohol; Engr. RULIDA, Jan Ray C., Tagbilaran City.
There were 40 examinees from HNU who took the exam garnering a passing average of 20% while the national passing average is 30%. However, the exam result of another four former students is still pending.
The performance of the recent examination may seem to be a little low compared to the previous ECE Board Examinations. Nonetheless, it is still parallel to other school’s considering that this is yet the first Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination since the implementation of RA 9292.
