Eight out of 19 ECE graduates passed the Electronics and Communications Engineering Licensure Examination given last April 10 and 11, 2007. Holy Name University earned a passing average of 42% while the national passing average is 35%.

On the other hand, starting November this year, there will be no more ECE Licensure Examination but instead the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will be giving the Board Licensure Exams for Electronics Engineers as mandated by R.A. 9292, which requires the Computer engineering graduates to take the board exam.
Meanwhile three out of six CE graduates also passed the Civil Engineering Licensure Examination given last May 9 and 10, 2007. Holy Name University earned a passing average of 50% while the National passing average is 33.19%.
