The Center for Community Extension and Development of Holy Name University recently launched a campaign for the assistance of the typhoon victims of Iloilo which was hardly hit by typhoon "Frank"
Dubbed as "Operation Tulong Iloilo," CEDev is coordinating with all the colleges and the other departments of the school in getting cash or in kind donations.
Drop boxes are placed in conspicous areas in all HNU campuses for the students, faculty, and employess to put their donations in kind.
A letter of appeal to the Deans and Principals is also circulated to get the fullest participation of their constituents.
The campaign will end this July 20, 2008, after which the donations will be delivered to the Diocese of Jaro, Iloilo, the diocese facilitating the relief and rehabilitation operations in the province.
