CS FACULTY HOLDS COURSE OUTLINE WORKSHOP
With the offering of new programs namely, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Information System (BSIS), Associate in Computer Technology (ACT), and the modification of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) of the College of Computer Science, the CS Faculty members, led by the dean, Mrs. Amie Rosarie C. Caballo held a Course Outline Workshop last May 28, 2008 at the Academic Conference Room of the Main Building.
The said workshop was facilitated by Ms. Mariejoe F. Narca, a faculty member of the College. The group divided themselves according to the areas of their specializations. Assigned faculty members presented their group’s output and the said output undergone critiquing by the rest of the faculty members. The activity completed the course outlines of all new subjects for the first year level of all the new programs. A discussion on reference materials like books and handouts has taken place also. Due to time constraints, the group has decided to hold regular workshops until all course outlines of all new subjects are completed. Ms. Narca had also introduced the new Laboratory Guidelines made by the committee of which she also headed. The said guidelines will take effect starting this semester of the current school year.
