Ph.D. STUDENTS ON PRACTICUM

A symposium with the theme "Developing Oneself to Make A Difference" was conducted by the 1st Sem SY 2007-2008 Ph.D Practicum Students of Dr. Teotima C. Amborgo to the HNU Working Scholars on January 20, 2008 at the Lesage AV Hall.

Topics deemed necessary for the working scholars like "Communication Skills: Developing Oneself and Perspective in Life" were based on the needs analysis conducted. The topics met the needs of the working scholars and were ably handled by well-known speakers in the field; Mrs. Michelle S. Rellita and Mr. and Mrs. Jose-Asuncion Pabalan respectively.

The one-day activity was properly documented and evaluated. The evaluation results serve as a basis for coming up with a development program for working scholars.

Meanwhile, a similar undertaking, an Academic Forum on "Effective Leadership" was likewise conducted March 15, 2008, 1:30 pm at the Lesage AV Hall by 2nd Sem on Ph.D. Practicum Students.

The Forum, this time was attended by the masteral students in the graduate school most of whom have majors in Education and Administration and Supervision.

Said forum aimed to enhance the potentials of graduate students to become leaders in their various fields of endeavor.

The proponents Sr. Ma. Corazon Caberte, AR, Directress of Blessed Trinity College, talks on "Spiritual Aspect of Leadership," Mrs. Jeanylette Ayson, a public school principal, touches on the Human Relation of Leadership, while Mr. Marlon S. Jala, a Math teacher in the High School department focused on Leadership for Learning.
