The fifteen full-time and part-time faculty members and administrators of the College of Education and the two faculty members of the College of Arts and Sciences were caught in a great surprise when the retreat master, Fr. Rico Glenn Deuna, without any hint, washed and kissed the feet of the 17 participants. As Fr. Glenn pressed his lips on the feet of the participants in a prolonged fashion, the retreat hall was filled with sobs and sniffles. During the sharing that followed after the washing of the feet, the participants shared that they were deeply touched by the retreat master's act of washing and kissing their feet.
The one-and-a-half day retreat tackled topics hinging on family relationship and reconciliation. The venue o the year’s COED annual retreat was the St. Philip Neri Formation House in Alburquerque, Bohol.
