Two regional TV networks in Cebu; the ABS-CBN, and the GMA-7, provided the 3rd year Mass Comm students the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes in TV and Radio productions as well as to enhance the their work values, competencies, and discipline as they relate to the people in the workplace.
Four student interns worked with ABS-CBN TV and Radio productions this summer, while seven student interns were given the needed TV exposure at the GMA-7.
Mr. Ramon Boloron, the chairperson of the Languages Department and the Internship Coordinator facilitated the application for the TV and Radio internship of the eleven 3rd year Mass Comm students this summer.
The summer internship program is an indispensable component of the AB Mass Communication Curriculum. Each Mass Comm student intern is required to accomplish 120 hours for TV, and another 120 hours for Radio.
