September is often referred to as the Math and Science Month. The whole nation joins this annual observance, placing particular importance on the two subjects which deserve some real efforts from the students. Some view these subjects as difficult and tedious, which can cause one's nose to bleed. Meanwhile, others see them as interesting and fun.
The pupils of HNU Grade School did have the impression that Math and Science can indeed be interesting and fun at the same time. Such was proven when they visited the "Science on the Move" interactive traveling museum last September 17-18, 2009. Pupils from Kinder 1 to Grade 6 were accompanied by their teachers ( some parents also came along ) and discovered how awesome the exhibits were: anti-gravity mirror, gravity well, money detector, hydropower, frozen shadows, mirage, optical illusions, "head on a platter", and Van de Graaf generator, among many others.
The said exhibit was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology-Bohol Provincial Science and Technology Center. The activity served as one good venue for educational trip in line with the celebration of Math and Science Month 2009.
