The university's entry entitled "EAT Danao Economic and Socio Cultural Impact: Proposed Measures for Sustainable Development" bested other entries in the Visayas. Adjudged second is the entry from the University of San Carlos and third from the University of the Philippines-Visayas.
Comprising the team are Al Jun Amodia BSTM 4, Dandreb James Arro BSBA-MA 3 and Jesat Cathy Duce BSBA FM 4. The supporting faculty advisers are Mr. David Maulas, coach, and Dr. Rosemary Zacal, consultant.
Judged on its rich of literature review (content), thoughtfully-structured sentences (presentation), and strong internal structure (organization), the winning team received custom-made medals and cash prize.
The competition is in consonance with the 11th Young Economists' Convention, sponsored bythe De La Salle University-Economics Organization with the University of San Carlos as the host school.
