In addition, HNU ranks first in Region 7 and placed 7th among 185 schools nationwide with a 51.11% passing average as compared to the 21.76% national passing with only 1,026 out of the 4,715 examinees who passed.

In the recent licensure exam, HNU has 7 examinees who are still conditional according to the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC). There were 45 total examinees who took the exam, 36 of them are first timers while 9 are re-takers. Twenty of the first timers and three of the re-takers pulled through the said licensure exam.

After the recent release of the Civil Engineers Licensure Examination last November 20-21, 2010, producing a topnotcher and new Electronics Engineers and the re-accreditation of the Civil Engineering program, the College of Engineering of Holy Name University is bound for a call to a grand celebration.
The new Civil Engineers and Electronics Engineers will be treated and honored together with their parents to a Ceremonial Oathtaking and Testimonial Dinner on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Metrocentre Hotel and Convention Center.
