Nine of 16 examinees passed the Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination given last April while two out of the five passed the Civil Engineers Professional Licensure held last May 14, 2010.
The Electronics and Engineers Licensure Examination was the first after a few years since the implementation of RA 9292, an act providing for a more responsive and comprehensive regulation for the registration, licensing and practice of Professional Electronics Engineers, Electronics Engineers and Electronic Technicians repealing Republic Act No.5374, otherwise known as the "Electronics and Communications Engineering Act of the Philippines." In the aforementioned examination, Holy Name University earned a higher passing average compared to the previous years. HNU earned a 56.27% compared to the 27% national passing.

On the other hand, Engr. Zenaida B. Dapar from Sevilla, Bohol and Engr. Jeremias S. Suyman from this city made it as HNU's new Civil Engineers. Holy Name University got 40% passing average while the national passing was 36.27%.
