Vice President for Finance

Fr. Isagani I. Ehido, SVD, also known as Fr. Ganie, was born on February 8, 1963 to parents Jose D. Ehido and Abundia A. Idjao of Waterloo, Matalom, Leyte. He is the 3rd of five (5) siblings.

He attended Waterloo Elementary School and St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Sogod, Southern Leyte for his secondary education. He finished Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City in 1986.

He entered the SVD and made his profession of vows in 1987. He was ordained in 1992, one of the 12 SVDs ordained that year. His first mission assignment was to Zaire, in Africa. In 1997, the Republic of Zaire was renamed the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His station was in the District of Ngondi, at the Parish of St. Peter in Kikwit.

He came back to the SVD Southern Province, Philippines in 2006 and worked at the Office of the Communication Apostolate. In 2008, he became the Mission Secretary. While still holding both posts, he served as the Provincial Treasurer.

He held multiple positions as the Provincial Treasurer, Mission Secretary for the SVD South, Vice President for Finance and Administration, Basic Education at the University of San Carlos.

He pursued his graduate studies and earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City in 2008 and his Masters in Management at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati in 2009.

Since July 1, 2020, he has been appointed as the Vice President for Finance of Holy Name University.
