Fr. Ramilo V. Mapaye, SVD
Vice President for Academic Affairs

Fr. Ramilo V. Mapaye, SVD, also known as Fr. Milo was born on September 3, 1966 to parents (+) Ignacio A. Mapaye, Sr. and (+) Prudencia C. Verdan of Atimonan, Quezon. He is the 4th of five (5) siblings.

He attended Rizal Elementary School and Malinao Ilaya National High School.

He entered the seminary in 1998 and was ordained a priest on February 3, 2006.

He was in Holy Name University in 2006 as Assistant Director of the Campus Ministry. He was also a part-time MA student in Ateneo de Davao. To concentrate on his doctoral program, he was transferred to the Divine Word Formation Center in Davao. Attendent to his studies, he also worked as the Prefect of Seminarians and as Coordinator For Vocation Animation of the SVD Southern Province.

Fr. Mapaye has a PhD in Educational Administration from the Ateneo de Davao University.

He was appointed as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences of Holy Name University in 2019 and as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs in the First Semester of 2020-2021. In the Second Semester of 2020-2021, he was appointed as Vice President for Academic Affairs.
