What are the Services of the Campus Ministry?

The services of the Holy Name University Campus Ministry are categorized according to the following: Liturgy, Outreach, Vocation, and Education (LOVE).

Liturgy

The Holy Name University Campus Ministry aims to be the heart of the spiritual life of the institution. Its activities, with special emphasis in liturgy and prayer, seek to nourish in the students, teachers, and non-teaching staff a deeper experience of God and the renewal of their Christian faith and commitment.

Outreach

Holy Name University values the importance of developing her students’ spirituality for social transformation which demands a properly formed social conscience. Her Campus Ministry aims to engage the students, teachers, administrators, and academic-support personnel in the difficult but challenging realities of developing social transformation through genuine and active participation.

Vocation

The goal of total-integral growth in the life of the HNU as a community could not be attained unless the different dimensions of Family, Life, and the Youth become part of the Campus Ministry Services. Through this goal, we seek to make true that the Family is the Paramount Institution through which Christ wishes to continue his evangelizing works.

Education

Education is an important area of concern for the Campus Ministry. The ministry aims to foster a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith through the education that the university provides. It hopes to awaken a lively interest for knowledge and opportunities for the growth of the young people's faith and commitment, quite apart from the kind being taught in a secular curriculum.
